Position SummaryCleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for shop positions working on Diesel engines or construction equipment as well as other supporting equipment. The focus of this position will be to provide Diesel Engine and other mechanical repairs on a wide range of customers from the mining, construction and paving industries.

Cleveland Brothers will provide you the necessary training and specialty tools to be successful as a technician working for the largest equipment company in Pennsylvania. Primary ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant must have relevant working experience and be able to operate and maintain all types of earthmoving and construction equipment. The successful candidate must also have good human relations skills and abilities as well as the personality to successfully communicate, and problem solve with customers. Customer satisfaction is of primary concern.

The Essential Functions Of This Position Include The FollowingIndependently and successfully diagnose and repair equipmentOverhaul engines and other major componentsPrevious experience working on heavy equipmentKnowledge of diesel enginesKnowledge of hydraulicsKnowledge of electronicsIntermediate computer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAs a Shop Mechanic / Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions.
