This position fuels the sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and territory development, while serving as a strategic Marketing Concierge for existing accounts.The CEMS identifies and cultivates new opportunities (Pre-Sales), manages territory performance, and delivers consultative marketing guidance to ensure clinics maximize their investment (Post-Sales). Beyond lead generation and market expansion, this role builds long-term partnerships that drive successful product adoption, utilization, and sustained revenue growth.This role is based in Tokyo, Japan and reports directly to the Japan Sales and Marketing Manager.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Sales: Prospecting & Territory GrowthOutbound Prospecting and Market Expansion: Execute strategic outbound outreach, including cold calls, targeted phone engagement, and on-site visits to physicians, clinics, aesthetic practices, and university hospitals to generate qualified new business opportunities.Lead Qualification: Evaluate prospects using established criteria such as decision-maker access, budget alignment, timeline, and clinical fit, while navigating gatekeepers professionally to advance high-potential accounts.Strategic Re-Engagement: Reconnect with existing system owners to uncover upgrade, replacement, and expansion opportunities through open-house support, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.Sales Handoff and Collaboration: Transition sales-ready opportunities to the Area Sales Manager (ASM) with detailed account insights and engagement history to maximize conversion rates and accelerate pipeline progression.Market Strategy: Conduct market research and execute territory strategies to increase market share and identify growth opportunities.Post-Sales: Concierge Marketing and Practice GrowthStrategic Marketing Consultation: Serve as a dedicated advisor to partner clinics, providing consultative guidance on patient acquisition strategies and marketing best practices to drive demand for their new technology.Resource Optimization and Integration: Ensure effective adoption of company-provided toolkits, digital assets, and clinical resources to support seamless product integration and market positioning.Social Media and Patient Engagement: Advise on social media strategy and patient communication initiatives to strengthen local brand visibility and enhance community engagement.Retention and Education: Foster long-term partnerships through ongoing support, in-service training, and continuous education to drive sustained product utilization, patient volume growth, and measurable return on investment.Documentation and Sales OperationsCRM Excellence and Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, detailed records of all prospect and client interactions, opportunity stages, and marketing consultations within Salesforce or comparable CRM systems to ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.Activity and Performance Tracking: Monitor, manage, and report sales activities, pipeline progression, and territory results in a timely and consistent manner.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Field Service and internal teams to proactively address client inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and enhance overall customer outcomes.Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required.2 to 3 years of demonstrated success in sales, outside capital equipment sales, or customer success. Experience in medical device or aesthetics is highly preferred.Exceptional phone presence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and provide consultative guidance on marketing strategies and social media trends.Proven track record of driving revenue growth, strong prospecting capabilities, and the ability to convert opportunities into qualified pipeline and closed business.Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented, with the ability to balance proactive outbound prospecting with patient, relationship-driven consultative support.Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite, along with a working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory to support business development and customer engagement.Position ImpactThe Client Engagement & Marketing Specialist (CEMS) serves as both the catalyst for pipeline growth and a strategic driver of customer success. By identifying high-potential prospects and ensuring partners thrive through expert marketing consultation, this role directly accelerates regional revenue growth and reinforces Sciton’s reputation as a trusted leader in the aesthetics industry.Compensation And BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from ¥7,000,000 to ¥9,000,000 per year, including performance-based incentives. In addition to a competitive base salary, Sciton offers opportunities for long-term rewards through stock or equity incentive programs and profit-sharing bonuses.
