Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures and strategic business alliances that are aligned with long-range goals.Coordinates and manages day-to-day running of front office or infrastructure areas. Responsibilities may include budgeting and forecasting. May assist in strategic business planning.Responsibilities of the role:Act as the central liaison between Invesco Asset Management (Japan) Limited (hereinafter, it is called “IAMJ”) or Invesco Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter, it is called “IHKL”) and local fund distributors/placement agents (hereinafter, it is called “PAs”), and both existing and prospective institutional investors (hereinafter, it is called “Client”) in Korea.Liaise and coordinate all aspects of Client relationships, working closely with Sales/Consultant Relations and Product Management to ensure timely and effective client servicing.Market / Discuss / Provide Invesco investment products / strategies to:Korean licensed entity that will be/ is acting as PAs; andKorean licensed entity that has a feeder fund and will invest into Invesco funds.Serve as the day-to-day contact for local PAs’ needs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information of product and investment strategies, various reports and participating in PAs reviews.Serve as the day-to-day contact for investor needs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports and participating in reviews as liaison for IAMJ.Oversee the onboarding process for new business, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to review investment management agreements and guidelines.Conduct market research on Korean institutional investors, pensions, and asset management firms to understand investment scale, plans, and business strategies.Develop insights into Clients’ investment objectives and propose solutions by liaising IVZ capabilities and external research.Sales & Marketing Support:Support IAMJ and local PAs in marketing and sales activities, events in Korea without any explanation/solicitation of IVZ products nor investment strategies to the ClientsSearch for and engage with potential local PAs, presenting IAMJ’s investment strategies and the broader capabilities of the Invesco Group (i.e. Funds/ETFs/any other products).Assist in the execution of distribution agreements between IAMJ and local PAs.Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to create tailored sales materials, including RFPs, competitor analysis, and sector/investor insights.Coordinate with Marketing team for the production and distribution of marketing materials.Communication & Documentation:Introduce IAMJ and its strategic vision to Clients and PAs through self-introductions and formal presentations.Translate and deliver fund-related documents to PAs, ensuring clear understanding of the content.
