The incumbent must be able to adapt to change and able to communicate and implement change to the audience they are training.The incumbent is responsible for coordinating & providing education and training of clinical application use to all clinical staff (e.g. nursing, clerical, medical, pharmacy, PSO, etc) to ensure proficient competent use of all electronic clinical systems. This position will work in close collaboration with site managers of the clinical disciplines as required. The incumbent will be involved in training module development and assessment, continuing education and the evaluation of efficient, effective use of the system for documentation/scheduling etc. as to ensure that all are appropriate for use in rural sites and settings and ensure a provincial scope.The incumbent is a strong team member of all others that are involved in ARIA training and will attend all pertinent team meetings to ensure that standardization across all Provincial Cancer Programs is implemented and maintained. In keeping with new standards as they are implemented this position adapts and delivers updated training models as needed.QualificationsEducationPost-secondary degree in a relevant health care related field or discipline, informatics or computer science preferred or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.Experience3 years of experience in a clinical setting with electronic health record utilization3 years of experience in delivery of education and training of electronic health record & associated applications utilization to multiple healthcare disciplines 3 years of experience in conducting audits of electronic clinical systems and applications, and reporting on compliance, errors, and reconciliation of accounts and users within a clinical setting Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders across health regions and sitesSkills And AbilitiesAbility to establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBuild and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all levels of staff and physiciansAbility to work in several projects simultaneouslyAbility to problem solve and think criticallyAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a teamStrong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and presentingExcellent organizational skillsEffective interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office; excel, word, power point, outlookRequired Licenses, Registrations, DesignationsActive member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriatePhysical Demands and Working Conditions Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings at multiple sites throughout the organization, and to lift and carry items.Must have suitable access to a reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 Drivers License Evening and weekend work may be requiredAbility to travelOtherMust have satisfactory employment recordMust be legally able to work in CanadaAbility to speak French is considered an asset Oncology experience strongly preferredInterested and qualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed and current resume, plus a cover letter demonstrating how you meet the above qualifications and the above competition number.This position is subject to a Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, an Adult Abuse Registry Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
