Position Description:Responsible for providing support in conducting clinical audit projects that are aimed at ensuring that the clinical practice guidelines and standard of care are being followed by all healthcare providers. This includes procedures supporting the development, implementation, on-going monitoring and evaluation of the clinical audit program.Position Responsibility:Develops a clinical audit plan in collaboration with the different medical and clinical disciplines and assists in monitoring key aspects of the planFacilitates the implementation of clinical audit programs/plans and ensures that the clinical audits are completed within the specified time frameDevelops clinical audit data collection tools and ensures the accuracy and validation of the data collected Conducts research on new treatment protocols, clinical practice guidelines or procedures to determine their safety and efficacyPerforms audits of medical records to identify incomplete documentation or errors in patient careComplete the clinical audits required by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) within the designated timeframe and in accordance with DHA guidelines and best practices.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of clinical audit results and other relevant data and leverage this information to generate reports and dashboards that offer valuable insights into compliance levels and areas for improvementConducts training sessions on clinical audit to ensure that healthcare professionals are up to date on the clinical audit planAssists in the preparation of a comprehensive audit report summarizing findings from clinical audits, including recommendations for improvement and respective action plans Facilitates the dissemination of audit resultsParticipates in proactive risk reduction activities by reporting the risks identified through clinical audits and by using tools such as Failure Mode Effect Analysis and Hazard Vulnerability AnalysisCarries out Clinical Audit, Risk management, and other departmental activities as deemed appropriate by risk management department leadership.Position Qualification:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field such as quality, or Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experienceCPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality), Auditing or Data AnalysisProfessional Experience:Clinical Experience or previous experience in healthcare setting4-6 years of relevant experienceAbility and comprehension in written and spoken English.Ability to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.Ability to compile/write reports, correspondences, and progress reports in relation to audit results.Exceptional communication skills both written and oral with the ability to positively influence others.
