Nestled in the heart of Surrey, we provide a full suite of psychologicaltherapies (CBT, DBT, CFT, EMDR, DBR) and psychiatry services, both face-to-facein Guildford and online. Our mission is to deliver scientifically backed interventions ina compassionate, ethically led environment.We treat a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns including anxiety,depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorder / EUPD, lifetransitions, relational issues, and perinatal mental health.As Clinical Services Manager, you will support high standards of clinical governance,supervise/mentor clinicians, ensure safe and effective client care, and help driveservice development and quality.Purpose of the RoleThe Clinical Services Manager ensures the safe, ethical, and high-quality delivery oftherapeutic services across the organisation. Working closely with the ClinicalGovernance Team and the Operations Manager, you will serve as the clinical lead for governance, supervision, risk management, and service improvement, maintainingexcellence in client care and professional standards.Key ResponsibilitiesJob description for the role is listed below.1. Clinical Governance & Quality Assurance/Registered Managero Maintain and update clinical policies, protocols, risk frameworks, andgovernance structures.o Conduct audits of clinical records, supervision logs, outcomemeasures, and compliance with guidelines.o Monitor incident reporting, complaints, safeguarding cases, and ensureproper follow-up.o Track key performance indicators (KPIs): wait times, cancellations,outcome metrics.2. Clinical Supervision & Team Supporto Provide direct clinical supervision to therapists, case consultation, and peer support.o Ensure all clinicians receive external supervision, CPD, and maintain professional registration.o Lead reflective practice groups, clinical meetings, and facilitate continuous learning.o Oversee onboarding and induction for new therapeutic staff.3. Client Pathways & Care Coordinationo Manage referral intake, triage procedures, waiting lists, and matching clients to therapists.o Support therapists with risk management, complex and high-intensity cases.o Oversee therapeutic continuity, handovers, and escalation protocols.4. Service Development & Innovationo Identify areas for clinical service growth and improvement.o Design, evaluate, and refine new therapeutic programmes (e.g. group interventions).o Drive outcome-based evaluation, data analysis, and continuous quality improvement.5. Compliance & Reportingo Maintain supervision records, CPD records, CQC audits, and governance documentation.o Produce quarterly and annual reports on clinical performance, risk, outcomes, and growth areas.o Ensure compliance with professional bodies (UKCP, BACP, etc.), GDPR, and insurance standards.6. Leadership & Collaborationo Work in partnership with the Operations Manager to align clinical and administrative workflows.o Participate in strategic planning, staffing decisions, and budget proposals.o Represent the clinical service at management forums, leadership meetings, and external engagements.7. Clinical Worko Treat patients within the clinic using evidence-based methods.Person Specification - Essential Criteria● Accredited qualification in psychotherapy, counselling, mental health nursing or a related discipline (e.g. UKCP, BACP, HCPC).● Substantial post-qualification experience (minimum 5 years) in therapeutic clinical work.● Demonstrable experience providing clinical supervision and leadership.● Deep understanding of clinical governance, risk management, safeguarding, and outcome evaluation.● Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.● Commitment to evidence-based and ethically grounded practice.Desirable Criteria● Experience in private psychotherapy or multidisciplinary mental health settings.● Experience in service management or clinical leadership roles.● Familiarity with digital clinical systems (EHR, outcome measurement platforms).● Experience in research, service evaluation, or quality improvement initiatives.Working Pattern & Benefits● 4 days per week; within core clinic hours Mon–Fri (9:00 – 20:00).
