Click here for details and contact the enquires person for further information.About The RoleThe CaFHS Social Worker, part of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, supports families with children aged 0–3 through early intervention, counselling, and advocacy. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on improving assessment and care planning for vulnerable families, helping parents build coping and problem-solving skills, foster hope, and connect with community resources. Based at a CaFHS site and working across regions, the Social Worker also provides support through Torrens House’s residential program for mothers and babies with feeding or settling difficulties.Key duties of the roleContributes to direct service provision for Family Home Visiting eligible clients by providing specialist skills in assessment and engagement of families who are experiencing psychosocial adversityContribute to the development and implementation of a service of best practiceTakes responsibility for improving the quality of personal practiceSkills And ExperienceAppropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social WorkersAbility in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating complex interventions including group work aimed at addressing psychosocial need in families with children aged 0 to 3 yearsProven experience in working with families utilising current research and knowledge about attachment, infant mental health and brain development and families who are experiencing psychosocial needEnquiries can be directed toNatasha ClarkPosition: Operational Enablement ManagerPhone: 0418823241E-mail: Natasha.clark@sa.gov.auWant to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
