Job Description

Job Responsibilities Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way Ensure work area is clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines Ensure 2 identifier is performed for every patient prior to collection before performing test for patients Ensure proper documentation for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices. Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory. Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone Required Skills And Experience Recognised N/O Level/ITE Certificate/Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences or a Certificate in phlebotomy Experienced in performing phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment (at least 2-5 years)
