Cloud DevOps Lead

Role ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product owners, team leads, architects, and global teams to deliver world-class solutions.Work independently, managing workload while fostering an inclusive and open team culture.Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud provisioning and scalability.Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more applications.Ensure documentation of system design, workflows, and compliance with standards.Apply DevOps best practices in collaboration with developers, QA, security, and operations teams.Focus on delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality solutions, including third-party integrations.Continuously build technical knowledge through hands-on work, certifications, and learning.Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide updates to Scrum Master or Team Lead.Use retrospectives and reviews to drive improvements and increase delivery quality.Remain calm under pressure and solve issues with minimal supervision.Communicate effectively and maintain a strong client-focused mindset.Keep technical documentation and knowledge base updated with resolutions and insights.Key RelationshipsPrimary Development ManagerDevelopment TeamOperations SupportQA TeamArchitecture TeamScrum MasterProduct OwnerBusiness ExpertsRole RequirementsMust HaveMinimum 8 years as a Principal DevOps EngineerStrong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and security best practicesProficient in AWS services:Database, API Management, ADAM Asset Studio, VPC, Compute, ECR, Lambda, Elasticsearch, StorageLinux OS experience with BASH scripting (Python is a plus)Solid experience with IaC tools:Terraform, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, AnsibleExpertise in Containerization & Orchestration:Docker, KubernetesExperience with:ServiceNow, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, KafkaProven track record in critical support environmentsAbility to drive process improvements and automationExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and adaptability to fast-paced tech environmentsUnderstanding of the broader impact of technical changesBachelor’s degree in Computing, Computer Science, or related fieldNice to HaveExperience with Azure CloudSupport experience for C++ and Java applicationsAWS DevOps Engineer or similar certification
