Cloud Engineer

About the Role:We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience managing services within the AWS ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.Collaborate with software development teams to define infrastructure requirements and optimize performance.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications and services.Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Ensure compliance with security policies and implement proper access controls, encryption, and monitoring.Optimize cloud costs and manage resource utilization effectively.Stay current with AWS services and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.Required Skills & Experience:Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role with a focus on AWS.Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing, DNS, etc.).Knowledge of cloud security best practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Nice to Have:AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
