Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our technical team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing, deploying, and optimizing Azure cloud environments. The role requires an immediately available professional who holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification — this is the most critical requirement for the position.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.Configure and maintain Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and App Services.Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access control (RBAC), and policies.Implement and monitor Azure backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions.Automate infrastructure deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of Azure services.Collaborate with development and security teams to optimize cloud environments.Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues promptly.Ensure compliance with governance, cost management, and security best practices.Produce and maintain technical documentation.Job Experience and Skills Required:Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) — mandatory.4+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure environments in enterprise or large-scale settings.Deep understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and identity management.Strong experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance principles.Experience with backup, DR, and high availability configurations.Proven ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.Immediate availability to commence work.Apply now!For more exciting IT vacancies, please visit: www.networkrecruitmentinternational.comIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
