Cloud Technology Leader

We're seeking a Cloud Technology Leader for EPAM Serbia with an enterprise application engineering background and experience with Public Cloud services.You'll be a key player in architecting innovative, scalable, and secure cloud solutions for our clients while also leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers. This is a senior, hands-on, client-facing role offering significant opportunities to shape EPAM's cloud business. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement cloud-native architectures and applications, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security requirementsDemonstrate strong understanding of modern cloud application development approaches, such as serverless computing, microservices, and containersDesign and implement cloud strategies and best practices for our clientsDevelop and implement cloud migration plans, multi-cloud strategies, and build and manage cloud-based infrastructureImplement and manage agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of applicationsProvide oversight for significant and strategic delivery projects executed out of SerbiaPromote and nurture a DevOps culture within the engineering team, fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvementBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including clients, executives, and technical and non-technical staffCommunicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely RequirementsAvid technologist playing a technology leadership role in a leading international or local companySoftware engineering background in complex enterprise application development in Java, .NET or PythonGood understanding and hands-on experience with Public Cloud computing servicesPrevious exposure to IoT is strongly preferredResponsibility for sizeable teams. Ideally, experience in managing distributed teams and working in a matrix environmentExcellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence stakeholders and build strong and effective working relationshipsStrong communication skills and ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language.
