Inspired by Japanese design tradition, with ikebana displays, washi paper doors and engawa platforms, the vast lobby, ryokan-style rooms and Aman Spa are all among the city’s largest.RoleCluster Revenue Manager will actively support Cluster Director of Revenue Management to maximize the rooms revenue, market share and the rooms profits for multiple properties (Aman Tokyo, Amanemu, Janu Tokyo and expected to have more in the future) through the strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures. This role will drive the continued development and growth of customer service standards, revenue and profits from multiple hotels and to deliver Aman’s mission relating to profit, people, customer and qualityResponsibilitiesEnsure all Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures are followed to capitalize and maximize revenue potential and market share.Utilize systems such as IDeaS, OPERA, SynXis, TL-Lincoln, CoStar and Amadeus Travel Click, tools and reports in the prescribed way to ensure all revenue management decisions are supported with relevant data analysis.Follow Best Practice and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all commercial decisions are supported by appropriate data analysis.Feed ideas and suggestions to strive for constant improvement of operating procedures and new opportunities.Explore opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenge existing processes / systems / products to make improvements.Build an effective working relationship with hotel commercial teams and operations to maintain their trust and confidence in the Revenue Management decisions and actions being taken pertaining to inventory and rate control, pricing and overbooking.Provide revenue management functional expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams and market sales leaders.Work with Cluster Director of Revenue Management and Training Manager as required to ensure all team members are provided with excellent training for a team member and Revenue Management duties.Ensure to maintain a constant ‘finger on the pulse’ approach towards local market conditions, opportunities, and threats - both in the short term and the longer term and be able to propose solid initiatives to maximize revenue, ADR and RGI positioning.Sales and Pricing Strategy: Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies and conducts sales strategy analysis and refines as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.Ensure that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.Information Analysis and Monitoring: Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors.Forecasting: Prepare all weekly, monthly, 3-month forecast and budget using appropriate systems and tools.Revenue Meeting: Prepare and in absence of Cluster Director of Revenue Management and/or Cluster Assistant Revenue Manager chair for bi-weekly Revenue Meeting to update market knowledge, align strategies, and approach accordingly.Competitive and Demand Analysis: Ensure rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analyzed.Driving Commercial Performance: Drive incremental Rooms Revenue, RevPar and Fair Market Share performance based on STR analysis.Assist hotels with pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.Check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate and manage activities and solutions.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of revenue management experience in the hospitality industry.Experience managing multiple properties or clusters is a plus.Proven background in Revenue Management operations.Strong knowledge of IDeaS, OPERA, SynXis, TL-Lincoln, CoStar and Amadeus Travel Click.Fluency in English and Japanese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic operational needs.Strong ability in demand forecasting, pricing strategy, and data-driven decision-making.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest or company information with integrity.BenefitsAt Aman Group, we believe that our colleagues are at the core of our success.
