We are committed to making a positive impact globally and locally to benefit all.Cluster Sales ExecutiveIbis Styles & Adagio Zurich City CenterMain Mission:Work closely with the Director of Sales to achieve the corporate and MICE segment sales plan and revenue targets in line with the strategy and budget expectations for both entities, in order to meet the annual budget goals. Proactively grow and maintain market share in the corporate and MICE segments.Main Tasks:Client Relationship ManagementEffectively manage existing key corporate accounts through personal visits, sales calls, regular phone contacts, and written communications.Stay constantly attentive to client feedback and comments, identify any dissatisfaction, and inform management so that necessary adjustments can be made to restore client satisfaction.Handle business group requests up to contract signature: respond to inquiries for rooms, rooms + meeting spaces, client events, and restaurant group bookings; create blocks in Opera Cloud; ensure follow-up calls/emails; prepare contracts, proforma invoices, and final invoices.Manage contract negotiations and new corporate/MICE requests.Respond to relevant Cvent & RFP opportunities according to the market and segment, and maintain good relations with Accor Key Account Managers.Maintain strong relationships with clients, local partners, convention centers, and other key local entities that impact visibility (Zurich Tourism, Switzerland Tourism, etc.).Keep the client database up to date after each meeting or client contact.Business DevelopmentIdentify and generate new business leads in the corporate and MICE segments through all possible channels.Promote and sell all hotel spaces and maximize ancillary revenues from other outlets.Prepare promotional flyers (MICE offers, corporate offers).Prospect new markets and acquire new clients based on business needs and seasonality.Represent and promote both entities locally (client visits, networking events in Zurich and the German-speaking region of Switzerland) according to the annual action plan.Organize site inspections and host fam trips when necessary, ensuring a welcome aligned with Accor’s quality standards.Monitor the competitive market and maintain knowledge of key hotel players within the comp set and the city.Stay informed about tourism market trends in Zurich and Switzerland.Team PlayerStay informed about all events inside and outside the hotel (trade shows, congresses, meetings, exhibitions, new hotels under construction, etc.) and ensure all relevant employees are aware.Accurately record all information about potential clients (for conferences or rooms) and communicate it to the appropriate departments.Build and maintain effective and positive relationships with other departments.Demonstrate and promote the right values and behaviors within the team and toward colleagues and management.Apply all hotel policies and procedures, and suggest new initiatives to improve departmental efficiency.Comply with internal health, hygiene, and safety procedures.Controls and ReportingMaintain complete and accurate administration of all corporate and MICE accounts and enter all information in BackYou (activities, notes, site inspections, fam trips, etc.).Analyze monthly production figures for each account and propose business development strategies based on client behavior trends.Under the supervision of the DOS, develop and execute the annual commercial action plan.Submit weekly appointment and visit schedules to the DOS and GM.Provide a weekly activity report to the management (DOS + GM) summarizing actions taken and clients met.Skills and Experience RequiredHospitality school diploma or hospitality-related training preferred.Previous experience with Accor is an asset.Previous experience in the Sales, F&B, or Banquet department within hospitality.Knowledge of the Zurich market and its key sectors is an advantage.Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); a third language is a plus.Knowledge of Opera Cloud is an advantage.Strong computer literacy.Personal Qualities RequiredStrong sales aptitude and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.Results-driven and persistent.Polite, approachable, and diplomatic.Highly organized, with strong prioritization, responsiveness, and accuracy.Analytical mindset with initiative and problem-solving ability.Dynamic, positive, and solution-oriented personality.Flexible schedule and availability when required.
