Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job ResponsibilitiesJob OverviewThe CMM Supervisor oversees daily quality assurance activities while leading advanced CMM programming, measurement processes, team development, and problem-solving initiatives to ensure compliance with customer, safety, and Magna Kamtek's quality standards.Roles And ResponsibilitiesLead and support Quality and CMM team members, ensuring safety, performance, and effective daily operations.Program, prove out, and maintain CMM programs (PC-DMIS, BRAVO, Mercury, Zeiss) and perform layout inspections, capability studies, and Gage R&R.Oversee containment of non-conforming parts, manage quarantine material, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.Provide daily quality oversight, including dock audits, inspection readiness, Quality Alerts, and shift pass-down communication.Support customer requirements through accurate reporting, PPAP-related measurement programs, and timely feedback on weld/sealer and teardown results.Ensure compliance with quality systems and standards including TS16949, ISO14001, GD&T, SPC, and Magna/Kamtek operational principles.Participate in production meetings, internal/external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and measurement operations.Train, mentor, and develop team members in quality processes, metrology practices, and CMM programming.Experience And QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS, Zeiss, BRAVO, Mercury, Opticell/Optigo).Minimum 5 years of automotive quality experience, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.Strong working knowledge of quality systems, standards, GD&T, SPC, FMEA, and measurement tools.Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and coordinate resources across shifts.Attention to detail and ability to analyze technical reports, customer requirements, and inspection data.Preferred Skills And CertificationsTS16949 Internal Auditor experience.Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.Experience with Minitab or FARO CAM2 SPC.Robot programming and/or CNC experience.BenefitsOnsite cafeteria with multiple fresh-cooked options and salad barannual events (Summer cookouts, Christmas party, etc.)Annual uniform allowanceAnnual shoe allowancebiennial prescription safety glasses allowancePerfect attendance rewards (Hourly employees)Medical Dental DayEducation assistance12 Paid HolidaysHealth Insurance (includes telemedicine, FSA, HSA, and other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with matchEmployee Profit Sharing PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementAwareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
