Nolte Precise Manufacturing, Inc.CNC Machine Setup OperatorCincinnati, OHCompany Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEMs in the U.S.A.Primary Job Duties:Maintain acceptable setup standards (i.e. time and quality)Provide cycle time and job layout correctionsRun production to productivity and quality standardsTransfers and/or downloads programs to CNC machine controlFollow layout to properly arrange and set cutting tools to be used. Install work holding devices, part ejectors and other necessary accessories as specifiedInstructs operators or other workers in machine setup and operationSet up machines for other workersComplete daily maintenance and 5S standardsCommunicate work statusFollow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and PhilosophiesMaintain acceptable attendanceAny specifically assigned tasksKnowledge & Skill Requirements:A proven track record in operation and setup of CNC machinesMust be able to adjust tools and other machine components, adjust the position of work piece or material, set controls, and verify accuracy of machine capabilities, properties of materials, and shop practicesMust be able to use tools, equipment, and work aids, such as precision gauges and measuring instrumentsMust be able to make decisions using the principles of logic, as well as knowledge and skills acquired through experience and training, in a timely mannerMust be able to gather information on job processes and report back to management with process improvementsShop math (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals, percentages)Must possess advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&TTechnical School certificate/degree preferredPhysical Requirements:Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etcMust be able to stand for 10 hour work shiftMust be able to work with oils/coolantsMust be able to work in noisy environmentWe Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.As one of the largest employer associations in the nation, MRA helps its member organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive assortment of HR services, information, education, and resources to help build successful workplaces and a powerful workforce.We partner with these companies working directly with their HR department and leadership to hire their talent.
