Job DetailsDescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Production Worker DIVISION: Production STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor DATE: 11/2025SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITY: NonePosition SummaryThe Production Worker I is to operate equipment and/or carry out material handling functions in line with work procedures for a work station; ensuring quality and production levels as per company standards. After receiving training and instruction, work in the assigned workstation(s). Move to where the work is. Work as a team member helping others. Work assignments in the plant will change from time to time.Position ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery and undertake any material handling duties as per the standard operating procedures. Ensure that all are guards and safety devices are in place prior to operations.Attention to quality – identify production/quality issues to the supervisor; take action on individual product quality issues, do not pass on to next work station.Work efficiently (smart) to minimize cycle times, in order to meet production targets.Follow procedures as it relate to the flow of products through the work stationExpedite reworks, addons, valances and accessories in order to complete ordersFollow and update the production schedulesComplete any required documentationMove to other workstations to help others when appropriate or as directed.Ensure lockout procedures are adhered to prior to any maintenance, cleaning etc.Clean the workstation throughout the day and prior to end of the shiftMinimize waste – e.g. use of remnants, vinyl, etc.Other duties as assignedEducation/Experience/SkillsKnowledge of operating procedures and documentation requirementsProduct knowledgeAttention to detailGood team workTrained for various work stationsPreferred SkillsCollege diploma or 2-3 years commensurable experience1-2 years of experience operating and setting up CNC router machinesKnowledge of operating procedures and documentation requirementsStrong math skillsAttention to detailKnowledge of RouterSim software Wage Scale$18.36 - $20.56Working EnvironmentProduction setting - DustOccasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditionsNoise level is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
