This opportunity will provide a well-rounded view of the construction industry from the Owner’s perspective, while also working hand in hand with the Architect and Construction Manager to deliver the Owner’s vision.Working closely with the Senior Project ManagerWorking closely with the onsite field Construction Site ManagerAssist in managing the procurement of owners Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE)Attend and take notes of selected meetings as directed by the Senior Project ManagerTrack Time and Material slipsReview change ordersMonitor and update spreadsheets for project progress trackingAssist with Daily reports through Raken (app)Track progress on schedule from the baselineQA/QC: Monitor construction progress and report back anomaliesDaily site walksEducationQualifications & CompetenciesWorking towards Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.Any Related Certification and Licensees, Knowledge of Bluebeam Software, Microsoft Office 365 is HelpfulOSHA-10Physical RequirementsWalk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrainCarry laptop and work bag (limited to up to 25lbs)Position may require travelAdditional InformationThe pay rate for this role will be $22- $26 per hour.At VERTEX, we invest in top talent with a highly competitive total compensation package designed to reward performance and support long-term success.
