DescriptionBoehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking talented and innovative Co-Op candidates to join our IT RGS Delivery Excellence department, working out of our Duluth, GA campus. As a member of the IT RGS Delivery Excellence team, you will be responsible for collecting, evaluating and implementing IT- and data-centric improvement ideas for the USAH Commercial Operation. Co-Op candidates will work with a global team of colleagues to deliver innovative solutions in the areas of Data Science, Software Engineering, APIs, IoT and/or other state-of-the-art technologies in order to support our company’s production operations and our business partners’ decision-making processes.As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. We may extend you up to 6 months in total depending on business needs. These are Full time positions only.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business partners to collect ideas for application/process improvementsPropose IT-centered enhancements, technology use-cases, and/or solutionsWork with local IT team to develop a pilot project to implement an improvement project. This pilot will seek to utilize a state-of-the-art technology, framework, tool or technique, in a way that provides value. Technologies may include: AI\Machine Learning\Data Science, Python, Apollo/ Apollo Studio, Power Apps/ Power Automate / Power BI, APIs, Database\SQL, RPAExecute the pilot project using Agile methodologies and frameworkUpon execution of the pilot project(s), document the solution design, and transfer the necessary knowledge and lessons learned to local IT teamSupport business partners with technology-related needsRequirementsMust be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standingMust have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related courseworkOverall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up)Major must be related to the field of internshipEligibility Requirements:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictionMust be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)Must be 18 years of age or olderDesired Skills, Experience And AbilitiesExperience with cloud-based systems preferredExperience with Artificial Intelligence or Data Science preferredSelf-driven, independent and curious with good communication skillsAbility to relate technology-related inforomation to non-technical audienceAbility to prioritize, and work with colleagues around the worldOur CompanyWhy Boehringer Ingelheim?With us, you can develop your own path in a company with a culture that knows our differences are our strengths - and break new ground in the drive to make millions of lives better.Here, your development is our priority.
