How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)The Technical Operations Division At Delta Air Lines, Inc. Has a Student Program That Includes Positions Within Engineering And Some Production/operational Related Areas Of The Organization. Technical Operations Is Seeking To Fill Several Co-Op Opportunities With Students Studying In The Following Major DisciplinesAerospace EngineeringCivil EngineeringElectrical EngineeringIndustrial EngineeringMechanical EngineeringBusiness Management/AnalysisComputer ScienceStudents may have the opportunity to work in the following Departments within the Technical Operations Division:Repair Process Engineering (RPE)Engine Technical ServicesOperations Support EngineeringPropulsion Fleet EngineeringTechnical Sales & MarketingEnabling TechnologiesInteriors EngineeringDemand PlanningFleet ProjectsMaterials ManagementComponent EngineeringFleet EngineeringSupplier OperationsEngineering Process & ComplianceWhat You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)The Co-op position requires a candidate to be enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above) that has successfully completed a minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) hours.Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be able to maintain the minimum GPA. Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.This position requires you to work for 2-3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule:Fall 2026 - 1st rotationSummer 2027 - 2nd rotationSpring 2028 - 3rd rotationCandidate must be capable of working in a team environment to creatively solve technical problems.Candidate must also have the ability to complete assignments with minimum supervision.Good technical writing skills, oral communication and presentation skills are essential.Strong knowledge of basic PC skills and Microsoft Office software suite.Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.Some positions may require weekend and/or shift workConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep Climbing
