Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New Role…This is a new position, which will become part of a high functioning regional team responsible for localizing marketing and promotional content across HBO MAX, linear, networks, affiliates, original and local productions across TV (HBO Max platform) streaming and social media, covering content for some of the biggest titles for our WBD brands such as HBO Max and theatrical. The wider group covers long form theatrical, television, games, and short form content for WB theatrical.The main role of the Co-ordinator is to manage the co-ordination of the dubbed and subtitled version trailers, marketing & publicity content of WBD for the EMEA regions, ensuring that our marketing content is effectively localized for TV audiences across various regions.  The ideal candidate will have some understanding of localization processes and specifications for TV platforms & social media content types.  Collaborating and coordinating across dubbing and subtitling vendors, in-house translation teams,  local offices, 3rd parties to ensure all projects are completed on time and to high expectations.  They should have excellent project management skill and a keen eye for detail.  The professional will also be responsible for the linguistic and technical review, correction and translation of Localization Timed Text assets in accordance with company standards and guidelines with quality, efficiency, and timely basis.At WBD we look for people who want to: Act as One Team: Trust each other, succeed together, and grow together.Create What’s Next: Be curious, innovate, and focus on the future.Empower Storytelling: Put creators, consumers and partners at the center and share extraordinary stories. Champion Inclusion: Empower others, have courage, and pursue equity.Dream It & Own It: Advocate the mission, move with speed, and drive results.Your Role Accountabilities…This role is based in Budapest. Localization ordering / QC and DeliveryAssists with planning and implementation of marketing Localization efforts for EMEA marketing content. Includes:Ensure subtitle and GFX translation templates are created and made available to translators.Script transcription/QC where needed.Handle sensitive and confidential material appropriately & securelyRegular communication with our vendors and stakeholders to discuss delivery schedules and timelines. Liaise with internal and external localization vendors for subtitling and GFX/mastering translation ordersWork with the localization vendors and translation freelancers to ensure all subtitled localization content are delivered and tracked within the agree timelines. This includes scheduling with vendors within the appropriate timelines.Place orders for localized assets, tracking these orders through till the point of delivery for allocated territories.Create purchase orders to vendors to start work requested and reconcile POs when required.Liaise with proofreaders to provide feedback to translators or escalate to manager in the case of repeated poor quality.Maintain tracking tools of all marketing assets that have been versioned.  Troubleshoot any issues that arise during localization of content.Provide support for other marketing operations activities as needed.Innovation & Development:Identify opportunity areas and work with the Global GCO localization team to make recommendations for workflow improvements.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in localization to continuously improve processes and strategies. Qualifications & Experience...Functional experience in localization preferably in marketing content within the TV or entertainment industry.Technically minded with a keen interest in new technologies and localizationPrioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesFull command of proper written and spoken EnglishProper academic background in the areas of grammar, linguistic structure, and phonetics.Strong computer and typing skills.Experience using Subtitling software suites such as EZ Titles, Softni, Ooona, etc preferredKnowledge of subtitling file formats and techniques.Knowledge of text edition tools such as MS Word.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partnersAdditional language skills are advantageousNext steps: Please submit your CV in English.
