Commercial Counsel (AI, Product & Regulation)

New role to join a listed technology focused MNC, HQ for Asia in Singapore.You will be joining an established legal team (5+) to support the expansion and adoption of new products and services relating to AI / Software.FocusCommercial: 50%Product Adoption / Growth: 30%Regulatory: 20%Job DescriptionThis role will focus on supporting the business with legal advice relating to AI product development across key clients / partnerships across the APAC region.You will support the business through complex negotiations with early stage strategic advice, drafting, review and the closure of a variety of AI product related agreements. You will manage sourcing relationships with with vendors and respond to inquiries on contract interpretation and compliance.Work on the launch of new products and services with collaboration across Business Development, Operations and Growth teams.Work on global projects with exposure to key stakeholders across the US and EMEA regions.Requirements6 - 10 PQEEducation and Law Firm credentials should be Tier 1Mixture of law firm and In-House experience preferred Legal skillsets can include AI, Commercial/RegulatorySofter skills include: Ability to build rapport in short time frames, friendly, high standards on work output, driven but not aggressiveAbility to work with various cultural backgrounds in Asia and overseas - essentialSD Legal was established in 2018 and now with physical office locations across Europe and Asia.To date we have successfully closed over 150+ mandates across the globe, locations include the US, UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East and APAC regions.
