In this role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager to manage Gulf trade exports, backhaul shipments, freight pricing, and vessel space optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesCargo PricingManage pricing for outbound services through calls and emails.Ensure RFAs/PMTs are accurately filed in line with agreed terms.Review customer requests for freetime and other commercial considerations.Investigate and validate FCAs.Vessel Space ManagementMonitor and optimize space allocation on assigned vessels and feeder services to ensure maximum utilization.Track performance on space usage within the agency.Coordinate on service changes, new services, and vessel omissions.Monitor REEFER container utilization.Collaboration & ReportingPrepare weekly space utilization reports for designated services.Generate weekly CFMT reports.Create PRD and Ocean/Feeder links.Review and assign freight differences for COD requests.Assist with quotations for tender accounts.Liaise with DG Desk to confirm Non-DG status of commodities.Resolve LMS-related issues within the agency.Must HaveBachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial shipping or trade operations.Strong analytical and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.We ValueStrategic thinking and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiativesExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong negotiation skills for managing vendor and supplier relationshipsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of the shipping and logistics industryWhy Join UsBe part of a leading global carrier with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development.Application ProcessTo apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume in English outlining your qualifications and experience to PIL Career Website .Eligibility To ApplyThis position is open to candidates who are currently based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and have the legal right to work, including the ability to transfer their visa sponsorship.
