Lafarge Egypt continuously seeks to meet the needs of a wide range of customers including but not limited to individual homebuilders, large construction companies, architects, or local artisans, powered by 1500 passionate employees.Overview:The Commercial Growth plays a key role within Lafarge’s Commercial Department, supporting strategic growth and market growth. The role focuses on identifying and analyzing growth opportunities across all cement business segments, assessing regulatory changes, and developing innovative business models. By diving deep into micro-markets and coordinating with Strategy and Topline teams, the Commercial Growth ensures alignment with Lafarge’s strategic objectives and contributes to driving sustainable business growth.Responsibilities:Health & Safety:Adhere to enforce relevant legislation and policies, and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.Functional: Strategic Market Growth:Manage the strategic scope within the Commercial Department, ensuring alignment with Lafarge’s long-term vision.Define and evaluate growth opportunities across all customers, segments, products and regional markets.Identify and prioritize emerging trends, technologies, and business models relevant to the cement and construction materials industry.Market Intelligence & Regulatory Analysis:Monitor and analyze building regulations, environmental laws, and industry policies to assess their impact on Lafarge’s business.Provide insights and recommendations on regulatory shifts and potential opportunities or risks.Benchmark competitors, industry players, and global practices to guide local adaptation.Business Model Innovation & New Initiatives:Conduct feasibility studies for new initiatives and assess their commercial and operational impact.Propose innovative business models to address evolving customer needs and market dynamics.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and implement new projects.Micro-Market & Segment Analysis:Dive deep into micro-markets, sub-segments, and niche opportunities to identify untapped demand.Map customer needs, value chains, and demand drivers at the local and regional level.Translate findings into actionable strategies that enhance market penetration.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:Coordinate closely with the Strategy and Topline functions to align initiatives with corporate growth directions.Support execution of business growth projects under the guidance of the Commercial Performance & growth Senior Manager.Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and business cases for senior management.Growth Scope:Design and execute growth strategies to expand customer base, maximize revenue streams, and improve market share.Assess & study commercial growth levers (channel expansion, partnerships, digital platforms).Lead initiatives to optimize revenue streams, ensuring long-term sustainability.Drive sales enablement programs in collaboration with Commercial Excellence to empower sales teams with tools, insights, and growth-focused methodologies.Monitor topline KPIs, assess performance gaps, and implement corrective growth actions.Build strategic alliances and partnerships that create synergies and unlock new growth opportunities.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fieldTechnical Skills & Experience:7+ years of experience in business growth, strategy, market research, or a related function.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market data.Knowledge of local building regulations, laws, and their implications on the cement/construction business.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of data analysis tools is an advantage.Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).WHO ARE LAFARGE PEOPLE?Lafarge people are passionate about finding better ways to build.
