As part of a growing commercial team, they’re seeking a Commercial Manager to take ownership of contract strategy and performance across a portfolio of long-term, high-value service delivery contracts.This is a hands-on commercial leadership role — guiding the business through contract negotiations, risk management and delivery outcomes that shape major public infrastructure.What you’ll be doingLead wide-ranging commercial advisory work, providing strategic input across multiple contracts and client portfolios.Act as subject matter expert on contract entitlements, claims and disputes.Advise on commercial and contractual risk management, ensuring compliance and protecting margin.Partner with procurement and subcontracts teams to streamline contracting arrangements.Liaise closely with the legal team on contract reviews, departures and dispute resolution.Lead the review and negotiation of new contracts or significant variations.Oversee preparation of variations, extensions and leveraged works while maintaining commercial registers and documentation.Develop and deliver operational contract management tools during transitions to project teams.Provide commercial mentorship — guiding delivery leaders before issues escalate.Apply strong financial acumen to interpret and develop simple financial models to inform decisions.About youYou’re commercially astute, confident in negotiation, and thrive in environments where strategy meets delivery.
