Commercial Manager (Germany)Location: Hamburg, GermanyGerman and English requiredA rapidly expanding EPC/OEM delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across Europe is strengthening its commercial organisation in Germany. As part of this growth, we are seeking a Commercial Manager to support the tendering, cost planning and commercial governance of large-scale transmission and construction projects.Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a central role in preparing and analysing project costs, supporting tender submissions, coordinating supplier and contractor pricing, and assisting in the development and administration of commercial contracts. This is a high-visibility position working closely with project, engineering and procurement teams across Europe, with clear progression opportunities as the business continues its rapid expansion.Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of cost models, budgets and commercial evaluations Assist in developing tender documentation, managing submissions and reviewing bids Coordinate pricing, quotations and financial inputs from suppliers and contractors Contribute to contract preparation, compliance reviews and risk assessments Support the Senior Commercial Manager with reporting, cashflow analysis and commercial governance Analyse commercial data to support project decisions and tender strategies Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCandidate ProfileDegree in quantity surveying, commercial management, construction economics, engineering or a similar fieldTwo to five years of experience in commercial management, cost engineering, estimating or project controls within construction, infrastructure or energy projectsStrong analytical and numerical skillsUnderstanding of contract structures, procurement processes and commercial riskSkilled communicator with strong organisation and negotiation capabilityExcellent German and EnglishDetail-focused, structured and confident working to deadlinesWhy joinThis is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing European organisation at a key stage of development.
