The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of physical metal trades, ensuring efficient execution and providing strong operational support to the commercial desks.ResponsibilitiesOversee the full operational cycle of physical metal transactions, from contract execution through to final delivery.Coordinate with counterparties, warehouses, shipping companies, and inspection agencies to ensure accurate and timely documentation.Monitor shipments, cargo movements, and warehouse stock levels, proactively resolving any operational or logistical issues.Ensure strict compliance with contractual terms, internal processes, and international trade regulations.Provide operational support to traders, including P&L inputs, cost monitoring, and risk exposure tracking.Required Experience3–5 years of experience as an Operator within a trading house, with a focus on metals or concentrates.Strong knowledge of metals logistics, warehousing, incoterms, and trade documentation (LCs, BLs, invoices, certificates of origin/quality).Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across global supply chains and resolve operational challenges under time pressure.Solid understanding of risk management, compliance requirements, and contract structures in international metal trades.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills; fluency in English is essential, additional Asian languages advantageous.
