If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Commercial Roofing Estimator with Quality Roofing Services (QRS), part of the Bone Dry Family!As a Commercial Roofing Estimator you will be responsible for assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our roofing projects, as you collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and the project management team. Your primary responsibility is to represent Quality Roofing Services, part of the Bone Dry Family, with the highest degree of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity while providing our customers with respect, honesty, and the highest level of customer service.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstimate Commercial jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managersWrite picking list, order materials, arrange for permits,Interpret job specifications and contract drawings and estimate materials neededGenerate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of businessQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience in all Low Slope and Steep Slope Roofing SystemsThe candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposalsThe candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelCandidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional levelRequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentValid driver's licensePass a background checkMust be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbsConstruction/roofing industry experience preferredExperience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales) preferredMilitary service a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompensation base range $65k -$100k and performance based incentive, commensurate with experienceMedical, vision, and dental insurance availableCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401(k) planPTO, vacation, and sick timeCompany phone, truck, fuel, and fuel provided for company use (this is not a take home vehicle)
