We are Hiring! AfricaPay International Ltd is looking for a Commercial Sales in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role requires a minimum of 5-10 years of proven expertise in credit card sales, acceptance operations, or financial services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on pioneering solutions in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Core Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesCreate and maintain sales content, including email templates, call scripts, presentation guidelines, and training materials for all stages of the sales cycle.Identify, prioritize, and manage prospect lists, leading sales engagements to present the Client’s product offerings, including credit cards and virtual cards.Conduct sales discussions with merchants, promoting the Client’s card acceptance solutions and supporting their operational onboarding.Maintain follow-up communication with new customers to ensure activation, initial product usage, and ongoing satisfaction.Track and evaluate performance results, recommend improvements, and suggest enhancements to the performance management framework.Provide regular performance updates to senior management through progress review meetings, steering committee meetings, and reports.Deliver periodic training sessions and support the development of the Client’s sales team.Utilize company resources and assets to support the execution of the above responsibilities.KPIs1. Financial Performance (card issuance growth, B2B flow growth) 2. Customer acquisition and engagement3. Customer satisfaction and experienceKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Commerce.5–10 years of experience in banking, with a focus on card products and merchant acceptance.In-depth knowledge of commercial and corporate card solutions across various industries.Proven track record in sales, business development, and project management.Strong leadership, teamwork, and people management skills.Results-driven, energetic, and proactive approach.Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Afrikaans is an advantage.Mandatory SkillsProven experience in credit card sales, acceptance operations, or financial services, with a strong sales track record.Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.Ability to equip and support the sales team with effective tools, training, and resources to drive performance.
