As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Roofing Division in Sarasota. You will combine your analytical skills with your sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.Responsibilities And DutiesEstimate jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managersWrite picking list, order materials, arrange for permitsInterpret job specifications and contract drawings and estimate materials neededGenerate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of businessQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience in all Low Slope and Steep Slope Roofing SystemsThe candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposalsThe candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelCandidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional levelRequirementsValid driver's licensePass background checkHigh School diploma or equivalentConstruction/roofing industry experience preferredPreferably 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)Military service a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation with bonus plan, commensurate with experience, compensation range $75k -$110k commensurate with experienceMedical, vision, and dental insuranceCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short term disability401(k) plan PTO, Vacation, and HolidaysCompany truck and fuel provided
