Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to be partnering with a leading global aircraft leasing company to hire a Commercial Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team at the centre of high-value aircraft transactions, contributing directly to strategic decision-making and commercial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to ensure all financial and commercial aspects of potential transactions are fully evaluated.Provide accurate and timely pricing, structuring, and transaction support to Deal Teams.Advise on optimal deal structures to maximise value creation for the business.Use market intelligence to generate insights, supporting enhanced decision-making and contributing to strategic discussions.Review, refine, and improve transaction models, particularly for more complex structures.Deliver relevant information and analysis to Deal Teams and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.Act as a key liaison between Deal Teams and the wider CFO function.Support the ongoing development of the commercial analysis function by improving models, processes, and reporting to ensure maximum value-add.Core Competencies2–3 years’ experience in the aviation industry, ideally in aircraft leasing or asset management.Strong understanding of value drivers within an aircraft lease or sale at both transaction and portfolio levels.Degree and/or professional qualification in finance or aeronautical engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience.Proven experience in financial analysis and scenario modelling.Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with advanced ability to interpret and manipulate data.Commercially minded, with a customer-focused approach to business.If you’re Passionate about moving into the Aircraft Leasing sector and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact role, we’d love to hear from you.
