As a Commis 1, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.Assist the Chef de Partie with mise-en-place, food preparation, and serviceFollow recipes accurately and maintain consistent food quality and portion sizesComplete daily checklists for mise-en-place and food storageCollaborate with the Chef de Partie to write daily requisitions for ingredients and suppliesMaintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsAttend daily meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and other kitchen staffMonitor and report any equipment malfunctions to the Chef de CuisineMaintain accurate HACCP records in compliance with regulationsCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operationsAssist in other kitchen duties as assigned by senior staffQualificationsCompletion of a kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training course (minimum one year)1-2 years of experience in a five-star international chain hotel or equivalent high-end establishmentProficiency in reading and executing recipes with a strong knowledge of cooking techniquesExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamPhysical stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environmentIn-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedulesGoal-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and qualityCustomer-focused approach to food preparation and presentationAbility to work collaboratively in a diverse kitchen teamAdditional InformationWhat Awaits You...The opportunity to join an international and innovative and fast-growing group, committed not only to building new hotels, but to creating a global brand.
