Job Description

We are looking for a Commis II (multi cuisine) to join our kitchen team and support the senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, be eager to learn, and be able to follow instructions precisely. This role is vital in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and that high-quality meals are delivered to our guests.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of menu items under the supervision of senior chefs.Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety practices.Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills.Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by senior chefs.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Commis II or similar role in a professional kitchen.Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.Good communication and interpersonal skills.High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school is a plus.Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation.
