Description of the employerThe European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) is a non-profit entity that unites 178 socio-cultural organisations from 39 countries in Europe and beyond. Our main action lines are capacity building, networking and advocacy. We organise conferences, trainings and staff exchanges, participate in research, data gathering and formulation of policy recommendations, create tools and publications, and connect our members with other actors from the cultural sector.Roles and responsibilities of the internWe are looking for a motivated intern to assist our communications and publications officer in a series of tasks related to the implementation of our communications strategy, namely:Creation, proofreading, and editing of written content on a number of media (website, social media, newsletter, articles, etc.);Regular monitoring and updating of the ENCC website;Help in drafting and implementing the ENCC communications calendar;Monitoring of and reporting on communications and dissemination activities;Help in drafting and implementing communication and dissemination plans for specific initiatives (i.e., ENCC’s 2026 annual conference) and cooperation projects the ENCC takes part in (i.e., the Erasmus+ project FULCRUM);Creation of visual and multimedia material;Social media management, ensuring sustained audience engagement across channels.Lastly, the intern may be asked to attend staff meetings, help in creating forms, and support the office in the overall implementation of the ENCC JuST project, if needed.General informationLocation: this is an in-person internship based in Brussels, Belgium.The internship must take place in agreement with the University of the intern (e.g. curricular internship, Erasmus+ traineeship or any other official internship scheme provided by your University).Duration: we are looking for someone who can work with us for a minimum of 4 months.Start date: beginning of 2026 (date to be confirmed with the selected candidate).Commitment: about 24 hours per week.Deadline to apply: 18/11/2025Language: English.Level of study: Bachelor or Master.Required background and skillsExcellent command of written English is crucial;Very good analytical and organisational skills;Experience in social media management and creation of multimedia content is aplus;Interest and experience in the socio-cultural sector is a plus.Interest in or experience with open-source and ethical digital tools is a plus;Ease with graphic design tools such as Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus;Study areas: cultural studies, history of art, cultural management, communications,journalism, or any other area of study related to the work of ENCC.BenefitsReimbursement of commuting costs to come to office and other costs related to the implementation of the internship;An international environment and contacts with a wide range of cultural and creative organisations, networks and experts;A human workplace culture and a pleasant working atmosphere, within a small team of enthusiastic and experienced colleagues.How to applySend a CV and a short motivation letter to office@encc.eu by November 18th, 2025 at 23:59 CET.
