Communications Manager Are you a passionate communicator with a flair for change and collaboration? Join our GBS team and help elevate our communication strategy across Gdansk and Europe with an eye on global Bayer and GBS topics and activities! Job purpose: In your Communications role, you’ll actively shape internal communications for Global Business Services – with creative ideas, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of people and messaging. You’ll bring our topics to life across digital channels, personal interactions, and inspiring formats. As a member of the communications team of GBS Europe and the global GBS capability Change, COM & Learning you can trust in receiving support along the way of your journey and learning more about communication management, tools and trends. What you do: Facilitate the strategic communication planning for GBS topics in Gdansk and Europe Design and execution of communication initiatives across various channels (BayerNet, Viva Engage, Outlook) Conceptualize, organize, and moderate events such as Dialogue Sessions, Townhalls, and team-building activities – both virtual and face-to-face Organize and moderate meetings (local and regional leadership meetings, Design Teams) Engage in Change communication to support transformation processes Take care of stakeholder management and collaborate closely with internal partners and leadership Responsible for content creation and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences and formats Act with End-User in mind, maintaining good communication flow across Capabilities located in Gdansk Are a partner for local Communities and Employees Initiatives Prepare and conduct the plan for Engagement Activities in line with the European Engagement framework, which are driven and conducted by any of the communities or by the CCL team Contribute in global Design Teams activities, e.g. BayerNet editorial tasks, GBS Development Month, GBS People Awards and more (in line with skillset and preferences) Participate in our dynamic resource flow and work on As-A-Service Projects (depending on priorities and workload): e.g. Act as a communication / change management project consultant, contributing to Communication / Change Management programs and initiatives tailored to diverse organizational needs Who you are: You’re an experienced communications professional with a heart for change and a head full of ideas and you bring: Min 3 years of experience in the internal communications in an international environment Strategic mindset with proven success in developing, managing, and delivering innovative communication strategies in complex organizations Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across diverse stakeholders; customer-service and collaboration orientation Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; builds trust and credibility Expertise in change, communication and transformation support Creativity and strong writing skills for various formats and audiences Moderation skills and enthusiasm for interactive formats Organizational talent and project management capabilities Digital affinity and experience with tools like Viva Engage, MS Teams, SharePoint Natural curiosity and a drive to develop new skills and knowledge Excellent English language skills (C1/C2 level), another language (eg Polish) is a plus YOUR APPLICATION Bayer welcomes applications from all individuals, regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, physical characteristics, social origin, disability, union membership, religion, family status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or any unlawful criterion under applicable law.
