Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Communications Specialist at Wendi Foundation. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic communications plans, drafting press releases, writing content for various platforms, and handling internal communications. Day-to-day tasks include managing communications channels, engaging with media, and supporting the organization's advocacy and community engagement efforts. Qualifications Experience in Communication and Internal CommunicationsProficiency in writing Press Releases and strategic communicationsStrong Writing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and remotelyExperience in non-profit or similar organizations is a plusBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
