We are hiring for a Community Manager with AI fluency. This is a non-technical role, but candidates must be highly familiar with AI tools, trends, and workflows. They should be capable of engaging with an audience that’s AI-curious and building an active community across platforms.To engage and activate YFS’s mentor and student communities, ensuring vibrant participation across courses and internships. This role ensures students experience multiple touchpoints along the continuum and that mentors are effectively mobilized.Key ResponsibilitiesManage mentor onboarding, engagement, and progression (facilitator → trainer → gold star). Build student community engagement, ensuring students remain connected from courses to internships. Partner closely with SDRs (supply/demand generation) and Operations (program execution) to ensure a smooth flow from recruitment to delivery. Organise recognition, events, and communication campaigns. Monitor community health metrics (activation, retention, satisfaction). --------Testing FrameworkPart A: Engagement SimulationScenario: 20% of onboarded mentors are not taking up opportunities. Tasks: ○ Draft interventions to activate these mentors.○ Design a 3-month mentor and student engagement campaign.○ Propose recognition and progression initiatives.Part B: Community OperationsScenario: SDRs have secured 10 new partners providing mentors. Ops is struggling to integrate them into live programs. How would you work across both teams to ensuresmooth mentor activation?Deliverable: 5–6 slides or 2 page write-up.Evaluation CriteriaEngagement Strategy. Operational Collaboration. Startup Mindset. Communication. Requirements3–5 years of experience in community management, volunteer coordination, or student engagement. Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience building and managing online communities Demonstrated passion for and usage of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Zapier, etc. - Not just ChatGPT) Experience in education, edtech, or working with learners is a strong plus Comfortable with automation, prompt engineering, or basic AI workflows Open to non-traditional backgrounds, provided AI literacy is high Strong people skills and empathy. Organised and comfortable managing multiple moving parts across global time zones. Equipped with a conducive work-from-home setup and a stable high-speed (fiber) internet connection for uninterrupted operations.
