SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to patients/clients of St George Hospital consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.Where you'll be workingWill be based at Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Offering a mix of historic buildings, impressive beaches and coastal walks coupled with boutique restaurants, transport links and a vibrant nightlife, you’ll never be short of things to do in this progressive community.Selection CriteriaQualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Physiotherapy Board of Australia; and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.Demonstrated core competency skills in Cardiorespiratory, Neurological and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence based practice, commensurate with years of experience.Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).Need more information?
