My client, a leading Irish law firm, is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join their Company Secretarial & Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience supporting Central Bank of Ireland regulated funds and entities, to work in a collaborative, high-performing environment.The Role You will provide company secretarial and board support services to a portfolio of Irish regulated funds and entities, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting corporate governance standards. Key responsibilities include:Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of regulated entitiesPreparing board and shareholder meeting agendas, packs, minutes, and follow-up action pointsMaintaining statutory books and filing company returnsAdvising colleagues and clients on company law and governance mattersFormation of new companies and updates to company recordsSupporting improvements to templates, processes, and proceduresParticipating in internal workshops, training, and promoting the team’s servicesExperience & Skills The ideal candidate will have:Minimum 3 years’ company secretarial experience, ideally in regulated funds/entitiesChartered Governance Institute qualification (desirable)Strong understanding of the Companies Act and Central Bank of Ireland governance requirementsExperience with company secretarial databases (e.g., GEMS, Diligent Entities) and board portalsExcellent attention to detail, numeracy, and time managementStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential dataPositive, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsHybrid working optionsPension contributions, life assurance, and income protectionRelocation support for candidates joining from overseasA collaborative and supportive working environment with a lively social and sports cultureApply directly or contact me via caitriona@amicus.ie for a confidential conversation.
