Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our compliance function and are seeking a Compliance Officer for our Stockholm office. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working within an investment firm, with deep expertise in MiFID II regulation. You will work at out Stockholm Office and be a part of the Group Compliance Team supporting the business in maintaining regulatory compliance across a wide range of activities.We are looking for someone who is structured and meticulous, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for the business. You take ownership of your work, exercise sound judgment, and are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.We value a Compliance Officer who is not only skilled in identifying risks and ensuring regulatory adherence, but who also acts as a trusted advisor—someone who helps the organisation operate efficiently while remaining compliant.ResponsibilitiesProviding advice and support to operational departments on compliance mattersDeveloping and ensuring adherence to internal proceduresMonitor regulatory compliance across the businessInterpret legal and industry requirements and translate them into actionable guidanceIdentify risk areas and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implementedConduct internal training on compliance topics and proceduresParticipating in cross-functional projects across the organisationQualificationsBachelor´s degree in law, business or a related field combined with relevant professional experience.Several years of experience in compliance within a regulated industryStrong understanding of financial institutions and securities law is an advantageExperience working closely with business units on controls activities and supervisory tasksPersonal AttributesWell-organised and structuredResponsible with high ethical standards and personal integrityIndependent and solution-oriented with strong prioritisation skillsProactive and curious by natureStrong collaboration and communication skillsFluent in Swedish and excellent skills in written and spoken EnglishThrives in a dynamic and high paced work environment with diverse tasksWhat We OfferWe offer the right candidate a challenging and rewarding position in a growing investment firm, with varied responsibilities and strong opportunities to influence.
