Compliance Officer, 6 month contact

An opportunity to work for a full-service global investment bank. An immediate start for a Compliance Officer on a 6-month fixed term contact basis. You will be a core member of a dedicated investment banking compliance function comprising 6 team members who are responsible for the provision of expert guidance, direction and advice in respect of APRA and ASIC regulatory requirements and compliance to the relevant standards and frame works. As the Compliance Officer you will be responsible for the monitoring of compliance policies and systems, liaison with Compliance team members and business stakeholders in the timely submission of periodic returns (monthly and quarterly) to ensure adherence to the required standards and procedures. You will be responsible for the analysis of data and submissions to prepare monthly governance and reporting packs for governance committee meetings and assist other members of the Compliance function with remediation projects, compliance monitoring, and process improvements.Ideal candidate will have experience in compliance monitoring and reporting coming from either financial or professional services.
