Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Job ResponsibilitiesWorking independently, responsible for the activities and monitoring of the supply chain involved in the savings programs.Wearing MRP and/or manual requirements, analyzes the demand to determine the needs of the site, releasing RFQ's for price and availability.Coordinate purchasing details with suppliers regarding pricing revisions, order cancellation, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions, invoice reconciliation.Working independently, coordinates purchasing activities and processes purchase reqs in a timely manner. Using MRP and/or manual reqs, analyzes demand to determine need, sends out RFQ's for price and availability. Monitors supplier delivery. Processes RMA's.Expedites and reschedules as necessary to meet production requirements. Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation. May research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts. Knowledge:Management of Oracle, M3K, Knowledge of key metrics in the purchasing area, negotiation with suppliers, Flexibility Programs (VMI, VCI,830, etc..), Knowledge of MRP and production processesSkills / Competencies:Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilitiesSkilled in coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced proficiency in Excel, including V-lookup's and Pivot TablesGood communication, writing skills and detail-orientedAble to function in a very fast paced environment and can adapt to changes.QualificationDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent related fieldMinimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing/procurement field.Good communication, proactive problem solving, follow-up and negotiation skills.Familiar with Microsoft Applications such Excel and knowledge of MRP, ORACLE system will be an advantage.Able to work with minimal supervision
