Together, we embrace challenges, innovate, and grow every day.In this dynamic environment, you’ll be able to contribute from day one and help shape the future of space.Workplace is in our Site at Emmen & Zurich-CircleYour missionDefine, implement, and maintain Configuration Management plans, processes, and procedures in accordance with customer requirements and regulatory standard (e.g., ECSS, EN9100).Manage configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.Maintain configuration baselines and ensure traceability between system requirements, design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery documentation.Chair Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and ensure proper documentation of changes.Work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Management to ensure product integrity and compliance. Ensure that product structures (BOMs, As-Designed, As-Built, As-Planned) are correctly maintained in PLM/ERP tools (e.g., Teamcenter, SAP).Support project reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, TRR, QR, DRB) by providing configuration and documentation status reports.Establish and maintain the connection between CAPA, nonconformity management, and configuration/change management processes across the entire product life cycle to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.Main Tasks:Receive, control, and process product configuration change requestsCoordinate Change Review and Change Control Boards for evaluation and approvalAssess technical, schedule, and cost impacts of product changesVerify implementation and effectiveness of approved configuration changesMonitor and report configuration change performance (KPIs)Maintain and improve CM policies, processes, and procedureDeliver training and awareness on configuration and change managementMost important output:Preparation of Change Review Board and Change Control Board agendas, facilitation of meetings, and issuance of minutes of meeting (MoM)Maintenance and update of product configuration data ensuring full traceabilityApprove product Design Packages and Logistic PackagesDefinition and tracking of product configuration and change management KPIsDevelopment and maintenance of Product Change Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Delivery of training and awareness sessions on product configuration and change management processesYour storyBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Aerospace, or related field.At least 3–5 years of experience in Configuration Management or related areas in aerospace, defence, or complex engineering environments.Experience with PLM/ERP tools (e.g., Teamcenter, SAP, ENOVIA).Strong understanding of engineering documentation, product structures, and version control principles.Nice to have’s:Good knowledge of ECSS-M-ST-40 and ECSS-Q-ST-10 standards.Experience in other Space companiesAny further language (German, French and Swedish) beyond English is a strong assetWhy Beyond GravityWork in an international environment with global mindset and high-tech products that will fly into spaceA highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of know-how in a unique industryWe live a hands-on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriouslyAttractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity/paternity leave and many more)Flexible and mobile working and at least 5 weeks of vacation with possibility to buy additional vacation🌌Are you ready for lift-off?
