Configuration Manager

Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for assigned areaUse Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or modelsReview and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy ticketing systemConsult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifactsUpdate and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB)Help update and maintain property recordsWork under minimal supervisionPrioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely mannerProvide useful suggestions on improving processesMaintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peersOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation/Training:Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required ITIL certification preferred Experience4+ years of direct experience in the area of Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Engineering, or Asset Management Previous Experience with Modeling tools or Model Based Engineering preferredExperience with Remedy preferredSecurityMust be a US citizenCandidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret ClearancePhysical RequirementsAble to occasionally reach with hands and armsProlonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a deskAdhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a timeBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentWellness ResourcesSalary: $120,000 - 140,000Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
