This is a permanent, full-time role based in Saskatoon, SK — candidates must reside in Saskatoon or the surrounding area. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in the oil & gas and mining sectors, with a focus on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team leadership. Regular travel to the project location will be required for this positionCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate — negotiable, based on experienceCompany bonus (depending on overall company and divisional performance)Share optionsFlex credits — $7,000 per year that can be allocated to a health care spending account and/or RRSPsLong-term disability, AD&D, life insurance & dependent life insurancePaid vacationCell phone allowance or company-provided cell phoneCompany-provided laptopCompany truck and fuel card, or vehicle allowanceDuties/ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of project execution, from pre-planning to closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budgetManage day-to-day construction activities on site, providing clear direction to supervisors and crewsFoster strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project mattersOversee cost control, progress reporting, scheduling, and risk managementEnsure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulationsSupport business development efforts in the Saskatchewan regionWork closely with our First Nation PartnersLead direct and indirect reports - ensure proper mentoring, training, performance management and when necessary discipline is taking placeEnsure safety standards are being met and when possible exceeded. Education/Skills/QualificationsMinimum of 15 + years of Project Manager or Construction Manager experience within the oil & gas and/or mining industriesRelevant post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or related discipline is an assetBusiness development skills and experienceExcellent communicator and negotiatorWell known in the community and industryGood computer skills required. e.g Bluebeam, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, google calendar.
