Construction Project Manager

BHA Construction is a dynamic contracting and development company delivering quality residential developments across Ireland. With an annual turnover of €55m and a solid pipeline of housing schemes in the greater Waterford area, we’re looking to add a seasoned Project Manager to our team to drive delivery on site.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Construction Project Manager with proven experience in managing residential projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard, while managing all site activity.This role reports directly to the Contracts Manager and requires strong leadership, planning, and site management skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day site operations and construction activities.Lead the project team, including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Oversee programme planning, sequencing, and delivery milestones.Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure all works are in line with regulatory and company standards.Monitor progress against the programme and adjust resources or methods as needed.Manage quality control, snagging, and handover processes.Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client reps throughout the build.Report regularly to the Contracts Manager on progress, risks, and key decisions.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in project/site management roles.Strong background in residential construction—housing developments essential.Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to spec.Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards.Competent in construction software, Microsoft Office, and project reporting.Relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or trade background with suitable experience.What We OfferCompetitive salary and package based on experience.Opportunity to work on major residential schemes in the Dublin area.A stable role in a growing company with long-term prospects.Supportive leadership and experienced site teams.Career progression opportunities within our contracts and delivery teams.
