SWJ Portugal Engineering Solutions is part of the SWJ Group, based in Lisbon. For a project in Palmela, we are looking for a Construction Site Coordinator-Conveyor Technique (all genders).You will be the key contact on-site and make sure that the construction area for the conveyor system runs smoothly and safely.Main tasks:Organize and coordinate everything the conveyor supplier needs on-site (container space, power and media connections, storage areas, scrap disposal, safety fences, barriers, etc.)Ensure that individual construction sections can be set up and operatedPlan and lead interface meetings and document the resultsCheck material availability, installation deadlines, assembly quality and completeness of delivered quantities and summarize the findings in reportsPrepare weekly project status reportsCreate daily reports and to-do lists for pending actions from the client sideDocument deviations between planning and actual executionIdentify assembly and quality issues and maintain a defect listInspect ongoing work, follow up on open issues, and support commissioning of the plant or sub-systemsCoordinate meetings with all involved parties and tradesOrganize and participate in all on-site meetings during shutdown periods, including daily protocolsCoordinate and support performance tests of conveyor systems and document the resultsWork closely with the conveyor technology contractor and support solving technical issues during the design phaseYour skills:Education: You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a technical apprenticeship with further training as a master craftsman or technician.Profile: You have several years of professional experience in euqipment engineering, ideally in the field of conveyor technology as well as experience in coordination of quipment installation on site up to final buy-off.
