Interested candidates, please apply.Title: Consultant Orthopedic SurgeonLocation: Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaQualificationsDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, or equivalent, and successful five-year residency in orthopedic surgerySpecialization in Orthopedic surgery or fellowship training after completing surgical residencyCompletion of Western certificates such as American Board, Canadian, UK Membership/Fellowship or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian BoardExperience5 to 10 yearsLicenseValid SCFHS License as a Consultant (for Candidates within KSA)For candidates applying from outside of KSA - should be eligible to have a medical license as per the SCFHS criteriaHold a valid medical license from your home countryResponsibilitiesExamine, diagnose, treat, and perform surgery on patients who have disorders, malformations, diseases, and injuries of the musculoskeletal systemInterview patients to gather information on medical history, allergies, and lifestyleDiagnose patients using specialized equipment for identifying bone fractures or defectsPerform surgical procedures like rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, and arthroscopy (e.g., for frozen shoulder or impingement syndrome)Prescribe medications and supplements, as needed, and make diet, hygiene, lifestyle, and exercise recommendations to boost the healing processExecute X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
