Consultant/Medical Writer - Global Value Dossiers - Ireland/UK/Spain/Portugal/Bulgaria/Poland but may consider other European countries. Weâre proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical development.The Consultant/Medical Writer is responsible for the provision of services for assigned clients in their area of expertise.What you will be doing!Generates compelling dossiers and value communications dossiers to include (global value dossiers (GVDs) and health technology assessment (HTA) submissions (e.g. Payer Value propositionConducts technical project management, including scope of work development, contract initiation, and project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and budgetsSupports project lead/director on other projects as neededIdentifies risks with completing specific deliverables and effectively executes strategies to minimize themMaintains understanding of project requirements and identifies scope creep as it happens. Alerts business operations and project lead/director to the need for a change order at appropriate times.Communicates efficiently and effectively across the ICON project teamCommunicates regularly with clientâs assigned point of contact regarding project tasks, budgets and timelinesEstablishes and maintains regular meetings with clients including drafting agendas, managing calendars, summarising notes and tracking agreed actionsCompletes internal documentation and quality-checks the work of othersParticipates in proposal and quote developmentEvidence dossiers and Value PropositionsAssists in document and information revisions and updates for different types of evidence dossiers (i.e., Health Technology Appraisals, Global Value Dossiers, Joint Clinical Assessment dossiers) for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industriesConducts comprehensive literature reviews and evidence gap analyses to support the development of value messages across clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes with limited direction of senior staffDevelops compelling Payer Value Propositions (PVPs) tailored to payer priorities and evidence needs, enhancing product value communication strategiesWith direction, transforms complex scientific and health economic data into clear, compliant, and impactful Payer Value Propositions (PVPs), and payer communication materialsCreate payer communication tools including slide decks, value summaries, and objection-handling documents to support global and regional payer engagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams including health economists, clinical development leads, regulatory affairs and market access teams to ensure consistency and scientific accuracy across materialsEnsure all content adheres to regulatory standards, client SOPs, and relevant industry guidelines, including ABPI Code of PracticeClient DevelopmentMaintains up-to-date understanding of the specific nature of key client relationships and supports the building/broadening of these relationships where appropriateAssists in formulating recommendations that help clients meet their goals by maintaining a current understanding of their commercial objectives and market access requirementsBehavioursProactively and independently expands knowledge base and remains current on developments, trends and best practices for subject matter expertiseEfficiently manages own workload with respect to project scope, timelines and qualityMaintains strong understanding of the pharma/biotech/medical device industry landscape as it relates to technically relevant trends and challengePerforms other duties and tasks as are allocated at the reasonable discretion of the CompanyRecognizes, exemplifies and adheres to ICON's values which center on our commitment to People, Clients and PerformanceAs a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needsDemonstrates and actively promotes an open and honest working environment to encourage close teamwork and foster knowledge transferGeneral Travel (Up to 15%) domestic and/or internationalWhat you will need!Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholdersExperienceWorking in Market Access in the pharmaceutical industry (pharma company or consultancy)English professional level in speaking and writingDirect and proven experience of writing HTA submissionsDirect and proven experience of writing GVDSDirect and proven experience of generating PVP PowerPoint Decks/HE experience and understandingEducation/QualificationsBachelorâs degree or equivalentWhat ICON Can Offer YouOur success depends on the quality of our people.
