Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities1. Research Design and ManagementDesign and Execute comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research studies, translating complex business questions into clear, actionable learning plans and related research methodologies.Lead the end-to-end management of foundational CMI projects, including:Brand Health TrackingUsage & Attitude (U&A) StudiesConcept Development and TestingProduct and Packaging TestingCommunications TestingDrive speed and efficiency in the research process, utilizing rapid research techniques without compromising the integrity or quality of the insights.2. Data Integrity and AnalysisReview and critique research instruments, particularly questionnaires, with a keen eye for identifying and eliminating potential biases in construction.Conduct hands-on analysis of raw data using tools such as Quanvert, SPSS, Power BI, or related database management systems to uncover non-obvious patterns and insights.Apply a strong understanding of basic statistical techniques to ensure research findings are statistically sound and reliable.3. Strategic Translation and StorytellingTransform complex statistical and analytical outputs into clear, concise, and compelling storytelling content for marketing and executive teams.Present research results effectively, driving consensus and influencing critical business decisions related to product, communication, and strategy.Ground insights in core marketing principles, including the 4Ps of Marketing and the marketing funnel, to ensure strategic relevance for JAPFA brands.Required Qualifications and Experience1. Professional ExperienceExperience: 4–6 years of progressive experience in quantitative market research.Background: Experience gained either at a top-tier research firm (Nielsen, Kantar, Ipsos, etc.) and/or within the Consumer Insights function of a leading FMCG/CPG company.Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in analysis of raw data using statistical or database management tools (Quanvert, SPSS, Power BI, or similar).2.Educational and Skills RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Analytical Skills: Highly effective analytical skills with a solid grasp of basic statistical techniques.Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into business context.Language: Fluency in both written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.Marketing Acumen: A fundamental understanding of basic marketing principles (e.g., 4Ps, marketing funnel).
